Leanne Loughlin, TCMP, D.Ac., Skin Therapist, B.A.
Leanne Loughlin, the founder of Living Waters Therapies, is a practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine and graduated from the Toronto School of TCM in 2006.  Leanne is a member of the Canadian Society of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture and has additional training in cosmetic acupuncture & skin care as well as receiving a Doula training certificate in 2010. She has practiced in the Beaches and Leslieville for the past 5 years. You can see Leanne for many conditions that you may see a GP for. Her treatments range from treating people for stress and emotional imbalances, pain relief and injuries, headaches and migraines, irregular and painful periods, fertility and inducing labour, as well as many other imbalances and conditions.  Her treatments consists of a combination of acupuncture, tuina massage, cupping, moxibustion and Chinese herbal medicine.
 
Leanne specializes in TCM dermatology and skin care therapy.  She offers facial cosmetic acupuncture which is a safe alternative treatment to lift and firm the skin and effectively treat various skin conditions.  Taking care of your skin on a daily basis is important and Leanne now offers Eminence organic facials for rejuvenation and helps clients with proper home care for their skin.  
 
Mai Yee Yue, Traditional Chinese Medicine PractitionerMei Yee Yue, TCMP, D.Ac., R.H (Registered Herbalist)
 Mai-Yee Yue has completed a doctorate of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with training from three different institutes specializing in TCM.  She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge into her practice of alternative healing.  She offers acupuncture, tuina massage, cupping, Chinese and Western herbal medicine (she is one of the first TCM practitioners in Ontario with training in Western herbal medicine). 
She is also recognized for her ability to work with very diverse age groups ranging from children with autism/special needs, the elderly to high level body builders and fitness enthusiasts.  She has experience treating anxiety, allergies, digestive problems, immune system deficiencies, fatigue, stress, arthritis, all kinds of pain, sports injuries, neuromuscular conditions and more.
Mai-Yee’s deep desire to help others overcome their physical and emotional challenges has inspired her to pursue specialized training to treat addictions, mental emotional conditions, post traumatic stress, weight control and  Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture.

Carol Contant, Skin Therapist
 
Carol Contant has completed her international C.I.D.E.S.C.O certification in European esthetics.  Her approach to skin care is that of a curative nature.  She helps to balance the skin with highly active ingredients from Eminence Organic Skincare, combined with facial massage that unbinds the fibres of the facial muscles, enabling the skin to maintain a healthy integrity.
 
Carol has a great deal of experience with skin that has specific needs, such as acne, rosacea and hormonally imbalanced skin.  Each person is treated according to their individual needs and concerns, which allows the client to maintain a healthy skin that they can feel good about.

Patricia Lavers, RMT

Trish is a Sutherland-Chan grad working in the Beaches and now the Leslieville area of Toronto for the last few years alongside chiropractors, TCM practitioners, Naturopaths and Shiatsu therapists with great success in treating individuals in a holistic way.
 
In addition to relaxation and treatment-based massage therapy, Trish has experience in female-focus work such as pregnancy massage, breast massage therapy to help alleviate congestion and scar work for post-surgical clients, as well as body work for those with chronic pelvic pain. She integrates other elements, such as aromatherapy, hydrotherapy, fascial work, manual stretching and joint mobilizations to create a comprehensive treatment.  This is helpful for clients of all ages, some of whom are dealing with arthritis, central nervous system disorders, rehabilitation post-stroke, diabetes-related complications, as well as repetitive strain injuries and tension-related headaches. 
Trish is a firm believer in self-care and education for massage clients; a successful treatment ends when you leave the treatment room without pain or tension, feeling relaxed and rejuvenated, and with information to help keep you balanced and feeling well. 
 
Nicole Meades, RMT
 
Nicole graduated from Sutherland Chan School and teaching clinic 2007.  She loves the power massage has to restore, heal and enliven people.  She has practiced in clinic settings and yoga studios offering relaxation massage and therapeutic massage including pregnancy massage, trigger point work,  hydrotherapy, fascial work, treatment for headaches, repetitive strains and rehabilitation.
 
Nicole also gives guidance for breathing and visualization, relaxation techniques and remedial exercise. She provides a calm safe space in which her clients can feel cared for and supported.
 
David Yuke, RMT
 
David Yuke, Registered Massage TherapiesDavid graduated from Centennial College in 2001 and has been practicing massage therapy in the Beaches and now in Leslieville since that time. His dedication to his clients, his intuitive treatments, his extensive knowledge of remedial exercise and his ability to teach clients about self care has earned David a strong following. Although David has the ability to use a broad range of modalities for treatments, he specializes in deep tissue massage and trigger point work.
